This year we decided to try leaving at 4am with hopes that the boys would fall back asleep for a few hours and we would arrive by dinner time. Well, Elliot did not fall back asleep and only took a 30 min nap on the trip down. Needless to say, by the time we were an hour away he was yelling "I want out!". Plus we had vacation traffic and some rain to delay the trip even more. BUT we made it. Elliot was so excited about the house and the elevator. He had so much energy running thru the rooms to check out where everyone was sleeping. What fun. We had a few bumps for night night time, but all in all the boys did great. Paxton got to eat his first handful of sand, Elliot enjoyed jumping the waves and playing in the tide pools. Jason & I even got to have a date night, thanks to Mom Dad Joanna & Caroline for babysitting.
