Tis the Season

This holiday season has been packed full of fun, family, and ouchies!

Elliot had his first official hair cut at Cookie Cutters. Mommy says it isn't the best cut, but that is sure beats me crying thru Daddy's attempt at it...well worth the $13! I was able to watch Dora the Expolorer on the tv and play with some toys while she trimmed it up.

The weekend of Thanksgiving, we spent in Brookville with Papa & Nana and my aunts & uncles. We found time to take a hike...

and continued our tradition of christmas tree shopping at a local tree farm...

Uncle Brad and I played a little football, a little baseball, and a little peek a boo with Frosty while waiting for our tree to be loaded up.

I got my first pair of snow boots! It was a little awkward at first trying to walk, but after a few times I got the hang of it.
I helped decorate the tree this year, but got a pretty good ouchie doing it. I accidentally stepped on one of Mommy's old ornaments and it punctured the bottom of my foot. OUCH!
Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Steven, and Uncle Brad joined us for taco/christmas card photo shoot night.

We found a few hours to visit the Cincinnati Zoo Festival of Lights this year. Paxton has been working on keeping his head up, but mostly likes to relax on his belly while chewing his hands. He gets stronger and stronger every day...soon we should see him roll over.

Lucky me! Uncle Jeremy was here for Christmas! Daddy wasn't so lucky this Christmas...he was confined to the couch taking muscle relaxers and slept thru much of Christmas (sorry no pictures!) Daddy did some serious wrenching of his back while playing a silly game at the Violin Shop potluck lunch on Christmas Eve.

Everyone was super helpful to Mommy & Daddy this holiday by rearranging schedules, and feeding/playing with/diapering myself and Paxton! THANK YOU ALL!

It was a great Christmas otherwise. I enjoyed opening presents, but had a hard time shifting my attention from the 1st gift to 2nd 3rd 4th etc gifts. You wouldn't believe how my toy room has changed. I like to call it my amusement park :)
